Upcoming Meeting Details:
The next School Board public work session is scheduled for Monday, October 7, 2024 at 7:00 p.m.
The School Board work session agenda will be posted below 24 hours in advance.
The work session will take place in the Board Room at the Central Administration Office. Seating for the public will be available.
This session is intended for updates to the Board, with opportunity for their discussion. Typically, there are no items on a work session agenda that require formal Board action during the work session.
Those who wish to speak to the Board will be asked to sign up for public comment when they arrive. See the Procedures for Public Comment during Work Sessions below.
Procedures for Public Comment during Work Sessions:
After signing in on the attendance sheet, individuals wishing to comment during the Board work session shall enter the required information on a separate form provided at the work session.
Speakers must be residents or taxpayers of the district and shall provide their name and address on the comment form before speaking.
Once the agenda begins, the proceedings may not be interrupted unless the presiding officer of the Board or the Superintendent calls upon individuals in the audience.
Time for public comments will be provided at the end of the work session. On the rare occasion there is a voting item on the work session agenda, time for public comment on that item will be given at the beginning of the work session.
The presiding officer of the Board may interrupt or terminate a participant’s statement when a statement is too lengthy, personally directed, abusive, obscene, irrelevant, or when it exceeds the five-minute time allotment.
The Board may delay a response until a later time and assign it to staff for follow-up.
