COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Information

Cocalico School District is committed to the health and safety of its students, staff, and the greater community. We continue to remain in contact with the PA Department of Health, the PA Department of Education, and Lancaster County leaders in healthcare and emergency management. We also have continued communication with other Lancaster County school districts and regularly participate in statewide briefings with health and education officials.

The most recent directive from the Department of Education requires each school district in Pennsylvania to develop Health and Safety Plans for Reopening Schools and Health and Safety Plans for Athletics. These must be Board approved and then posted on the district webpage before bringing students onsite for athletic drills or for in-person instruction for the 2020-2021 school year. The plans are based on school safety requirements and provide a basic framework for districts. Additional details for athletes will be shared through our athletic department, and additional details for reopening our schools will be shared with all families after more specific procedures can be developed.

For more information, please refer to the links in the left sidebar. Here you will find additional district communications, copies of our Health and Safety Plans, and resources about the illness.
