Mrs. Jessica Townsley has been part of Cocalico School District since 2014. After beginning her career in education as an elementary teacher, she expanded into secondary education, serving as a middle school math and reading lab teacher as well as a middle school ELA teacher.
Mrs. Townsley later transitioned into specialized instructional leadership. As a high school reading specialist and MTSS coordinator, she designed targeted interventions to support diverse student learning needs. In 2022, she moved into administration as a high school assistant principal, driving school-wide academic programs, teacher development, and administrative operations.
In her current role, Mrs. Townsley provides leadership for district-wide academic standards, instructional practices, data analysis, professional development, and student assessment frameworks. Her broad experience across every grade level from elementary through high school has well-equipped her to align district learning goals and guide strategic academic initiatives.
