Curriculum

Title I/Reading Support

Many parents and students alike experience mixed feelings about beginning kindergarten.  Parents often wonder whether their children are “ready.”  Children worry about the big school, whether they can do what they’re asked to do, whether kindergarten will be fun.

These workshops provide an opportunity to have some of these questions answered.  Come and spend some fun quality time with your child working through centers, meeting other incoming kindergarteners and their parents and learning about activities that can make the transition to school easier for all of you.

The following workshops are for all Pre-Kindergarten students and their parents throughout the Cocalico School District and will be held at different elementary schools throughout the district, please see the specific locations below.

Please call the office of the Principal of Reading (336-1455) at your earliest convenience to RSVP for the workshops you wish to attend. Click here to download an Adobe PDF with the following information.
